'Helping children discover the world, its people, countries and environments
through fun facts, activities, illustrations and more!'
I am delighted to share with you this brand new website 'The Worldly Adventures of Archibold Clutterbuck & Friends' which launches today!
'The Worldly Adventures of Archibold Clutterbuck & Friends is a free education platform for children to learn about the world around them. Free from political and social bias the Worldly Adventures platform allows children to get an unbiased look into this amazing world we call home. Archibold Clutterbuck & friends take you on a personal journey through all the 7 continents, exploring amazing countries, meeting incredible people, and having incredible Worldly Adventures.'
We have our travelling souvenirs to hand this morning and the boys are already getting stuck in! I have never seen them so motivated on a Monday morning!
They started by opening their fun, colourful Continents Explorer Journal and writing about the worldly adventures they have been on so far, whilst looking at the Geographical Map and wearing their Explorer Stickers! They then decided to start exploring Africa, learning fascinating facts and researching all the questions they had, on the website here, before writing up their findings in their journals.
The Worldly Adventures of Archibold Clutterbuck & Friends has been encouraging my kiddies to discover and explore the world for themselves. They quickly learnt how to navigate the website and have been enjoying learning about the Continents, Environments, Indigenous People as well as ticking off the flags of the world as they identify each one. Check out our Instagram page here where I will be uploading photos and videos throughout the day!
The Worldly Adventures of Archibold Clutterbuck & Friends website here is packed with educational facts and inspiring information that has captivated the boys and sparked their curiosity to ask questions about the World around them. It's bright, cheerful and quickly engaged the boys as they huddled together around the computer. With its child-friendly format and lively illustrations, the boys were intrigued and delved further into their studies as they read about the animals of Africa. They were particularly excited when they clicked on a word and it catapulted them over to Archie's YouTube channel where they got the chance to watch Extraordinary Top 5 facts on subjects from African Animals to European Landmarks.
The Worldly Adventures of Archibold Clutterbuck & Friends has some very unique qualities and I believe it fits perfectly with the whole ethos of our Home Education.
I particularly like how it is split into continents, so the kiddies can study one group of countries at a time and we can make a whole project out of it. I also like the fact that The Worldly Adventures of Archibold Clutterbuck & Friends is not a subscription service, you basically buy the souvenirs for your young adveturer in the online shop, and then follow your child's interests as they explore the World, at their own pace, making it a perfect child-led adventure. There are also lots of free activity printables such as crosswords, wordsearches and colouring sheets, which test your child's knowledge! :)
Please head over to our Instagram page here where I will be running a competition at some point today! You could win an A1 or A2 World Map, a Continents Explorer Journal and Stickers!
Teach your children about the world with The Worldly Adventures of Archibold Clutterbuck & Friends. Check out their website here for more information.
Happy Exploring! :)
