New activity book being released this April!

The lovely lady at Usborne Books with Aisha kindly sent us this colourful Rubber Stamp Activity Garden book which is bursting with ideas to keep the little ones entertained this Spring!

This spring themed book is going to be released this April and at first glance looks like a fun, sturdy book with perfectly sized rubber stampers for little hands.

It comes with six brightly coloured ink pads and a set of circle, triangle, square and petal shaped rubber stampers.

'There's lots of space for you to fill, so take the lid off the inkpad and have fun.' Usborne Books

This book is in my Top Ten Spring Book recommendations I posted last week. Check it out here.

DD3 was itching to have a go at this activity as soon as she opened the parcel this morning!

She quickly understood what to do and used her fine motor skills to pick up each small stamper. She then dabbed it into the ink pad and began decorating her garden with spiky hedgehogs, crawling caterpillars and busy bees!

The book has a spiral binding so that it easily lays flat whilst DD3 releases her artistic flare across its pages, which also consist of hints and tips throughout. For example, it advises to wait until the ink has dried before adding finer details with pencils and crayons. It also advises which stampers to use on each page and gives an easy step-by-step guide on how to stamp out wildlife which DD3 could easily follow.

The book is packed with beautifully illustrated garden pictures from printing moles peeping out of molehills to filling a pond with fish. Children can let their imaginations run wild through this activity book.

DD3 says, 'I couldn't wait to use the stampers and ink because the colours are nice, it's like painting and I like paint.'

Overall another delightful, fun filled activity book by Usborne Books who are renowned for their quality and many hours of amusement, the flashcard packs are fab too!

Over the next few weeks we are hoping to take our classroom outdoors even more as we leave the winter season behind. This book will be perfect to pop into our picnic basket for DD3! By using this book outdoors, not only will it keep her little hands and mind busy, but I am sure she will be inspired by her natural surroundings whilst working on her stamp creations!

You're never disappointed with an Usborne book, so if you would like to get your little ones a copy then head over to Usborne Books with Aisha.

Have fun with all your Home Ed activities this Spring :)
